Research Notes 2020-4-13

Research Notes masthead

Wouldn’t it be nice if this huge storm front moving across the country could wipe out the Corona virus? I wouldn’t hold my breath on that, but do keep an eye on the storm and stay safe. A data backup of your genealogy database, your research notes and other files to off-site cloud storage would also be a good idea.

The Affordable Research blog has a recorded presentation from Amy Johnson Crow on the Digital Public Library of America – A Growing Source for Free Genealogy. That’s just one bit of genealogical goodness you will find at Affordable Research. Take a look around. You’ll be amazed to see how much genealogical goodness is online and freely accesssible.

SAGS members are always welcome at the society groups on MeWe.com. The Member Network, Storytellers Studio and Research Resource Center are always open with lots of useful genealogical goodness. Both the Storytellers Studio and Research Resource Center are open groups. The Members Network group is a private group for SAGS members. If you haven’t received an invitation to join the Members group, contact Denise Olson (sags.publications@yahoo.com) to get set up.

Sample of the “fine print” at the bottom of each post.

Also down at the bottom of each delivered post is a Comment button.
