The Corona Virus continues to create chaos all over the world. It has made an impact on all of us. While it is forcing all of us to limit our movements outside of our homes, it is also shutting down a number of services we often take for granted. One of those services is our public library system. The St. John’s County libraries have been shut down for an indefinite length of time.
While this means we cannot have society meetings until this crisis is over, it doesn’t mean we can’t get together online. Tumblr is a blog platform that is free and easy to use. Tumblr is unique in that it is part blog and part social network. Not only can we post photos, stories and other content, we can also start conversations using Tumblr’s Notes feature.
We are currently building a Tumblr user guide to help our members get started with this free, fun and easy service. We hope to have this available to our members later this week. We will let you know as soon as it’s available.
