Change for Saturday’s General Meeting

Hello everyone. It is with regret that we have to inform you that our speaker for this Saturday, Mark Olsen from FamilyTreeMaker, has had to withdraw due to a family commitment. We apologize for the short notice and will endeavour to reschedule him within the next few months.

In his stead, our President, Paul Howes, has stepped forward to talk with us about his One-Name Study into his surname, and other similar-sounding names. After 14 years of hard work he and his team are now within days of having 200,000 people in reconstructed family trees in their master file.

The meeting will be this Saturday, October 8, at 1:00 at the Southeast Branch of the St. Johns Public Library.

Check our Society Calendar at for more information.
