Digital Public Library of America (DPLA) has a large collection of digitized family Bibles, Civil War records and photographs.
New York Public Library
New York Public Library has an impressive collection of private family papers and photographs.
The University of Florida’s P. K. Yonge Library of Florida History
The University of Florida’s P. K. Yonge Library of Florida History includes a number of local collections like Spanish Colonial Records, maps, Civil War collections, black history collections and World War II collections.
St. Johns County Public Library Southeast Branch
The Southeast Branch of the St. Johns County Public Library maintains an impressive reference collection of genealogical material including over 1,200 genealogy related books and over 16,000 history books. You can use the online catalog to search for specific topics, titles or authors. St. Johns County libraries also participate in the WorldCat project and have public computers with free access to Ancestry.com and other online archives. The St. Augustine Genealogical Society supports the genealogy collection at the Southeast Branch Public Library by contributing genealogy books to their collection.
St. Augustine Historical Society
The St. Augustine Historical Society maintains a library at 6 Artillery Lane in downtown St. Augustine. Their collection includes maps, photographs, vertical subject files, church records, circuit court cases, city government records, manuscript collections, circuit court records, and biographical files. An online catalog is also available. There is no charge to use the library, but there are charges for photocopies. They do not allow cameras, camera phones or scanners in the library. Genealogical Societies
Genealogical Societies are non-profit organizations that support family history research through education, resources and record presesrvaion. They frequently have specialized databases and libraries. Many publish journals and newsletters with case studies and techniques on effective research.
Castle Garden Emigrant Depot
The National Park Service has a page on the Castle Garden Emigrant Depot was America's first facility dedicated entirely to the welfare of immigrants coming to America. 
St. Johns County Clerk of the Circuit Court
The Clerk of Courts office is located off U.S. 1 north of St. Augustine in the County Administration Complex at 4010 Lewis Speedway, St. Augustine, Florida
St. Johns County Clerk of the Circuit Court Records Management Office
The Records Management Office maintains an archive dating back to Florida’s territorial days (1821) as well as Tax Rolls from 1887 to the present for St. Johns County. According to their website, they have a contract with the St. Augustine Historical Society for genealogical records.

Florida Bureau of Vital Statistics
The Florida Bureau of Vital Statistics maintains birth, death, marriage, divorce, Apostille and Notarial Certifications. Records may be requested using the appropriate form or through Vital Records.
Bureau of Land Management – General Land Office Records (GLO)
Bureau of Land Management General Land Office Records provides live access to Federal land conveyance records for the Public Land States, including image access to more than five million Federal land title records issued between 1788 and the present. It has images of survey plats and field notes, land status records, and control document index records. Due to organization of documents in the GLO collection, this site does not currently contain every Federal title record issued for the Public Land States.
